Design That Speaks

I’m a multidisciplinary designer and visual storyteller working at the intersection of design, strategy, and creative brand communication. I care about creating work that feels honest, looks sharp, and connects with people in a real way.

My career started in hands-on communication design, where I learned how to build clean, thoughtful visual systems and shape ideas into work that actually solves problems. Over the years, that foundation grew into brand development, campaign work, and eventually creative direction. I’ve worked my way through roles that taught me how to manage deadlines, guide junior designers, collaborate across teams, and bring clarity to messy ideas.

Along the way, I stepped into leadership. I led a design team at an agency, supported cross-functional creative projects, and directed the visual language for campaigns across digital, print, and motion. One of my career highlights was serving as art/creative director on a film project, where I handled visual tone, story flow, and overall creative cohesion. More recently, I contributed to major campaigns like the “Number One in Service” project, which reshaped how sensitive categories like funeral and life insurance show up in South Africa.

All these chapters sharpened how I think, how I create, and how I lead. They taught me to balance craft and strategy, mentor others, and keep the work rooted in insight and intention. Today, I combine nine-plus years of experience in communication design, brand development, and creative leadership to create work that’s considered and meaningful. I love solving problems through design, but what keeps me inspired is the collaboration behind strong ideas. That’s where design becomes more than visuals. It becomes connection.
